What I do
I design and build AI agents: systems where a language model has to call tools, work with real data, and give an answer someone can act on. Most of the job is the unglamorous middle part: picking the model, deciding what tools it gets, and planning for when it's wrong and how a person finds out.
The best example is Annie, a patient assistant for a cosmetic surgery practice. It answers procedure questions around the clock, pulls the right video from the practice's own library, and books consultations. I took it from a prototype that lost conversations on restart to a platform the staff run themselves. That includes a second agent that lets them ask plain-English questions across thousands of patient chats.
How I got here
Over the last seven years I've built production software for healthcare, finance, and recruiting teams. Along the way I co-founded a game studio whose first title passed 500,000 downloads, and I shipped three iOS apps.
Things I've shipped
- Annie ACS: a patient-facing agent running 24/7 at a surgery practice
- Oak: a Pokémon agent that reasons from 14 data tools and cites every answer
- A lab system handling 10,000+ samples a day
- A resume parser that screens 1,000+ applicants per posting
Working together
If you have a prototype that works in a demo but not on a Tuesday afternoon, that's the kind of problem I like. The case studies go deeper, and email is the fastest way to reach me.
